Hartmut Aubell acquired his knowledge of wine and premium class vinification through years of practice in renowned companies in Austria (Emmerich Knoll, Sepp Moser, Schloss Halbthurn), in Germany (Forstmeister Geltz-Zilliken) and in France (Chateau Hermitage – Bordeaux, Didier Dagueneau – Loire).

Even as a child, he loved South Styria, and as an adult he loves its local wines. He is now a South Styrian through and through.

Not only is he an outstanding wine-maker and cellar master to the Rebenhof, he also a remarkable young entrepreneur who are we are sure to hear a lot more from!
